Clayton and I boarded the amtrak train in Detroit this morning at 11:20 AM. We had 2 seats to ourselves. The train ride was about 6.5 hrs. We slept, tooks walks- played... It was a lot of fun! When we arrived in Chicago we had to walk about 2 miles to our hotel. So I had my hiking pack on my back. Clayton on my front, and I pushed the diaper bag in the stroller. It was a beautiful walk through downtown- even though we almost got blown over twice!! (It really is the windy city!!)Clayton stared at the sky for the whoke walk and sai, "babab bababab bababb..." So cute! We arrived at the hotel and were warmly greeted by friends from church!! Anway, Clayton did wonderful and I'm looking forward to some good bonding with him and my church family.
